Brief Answer:
What is the indication for Vicodin?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for posting on this forum.

I am so sorry to hear about this sick feeling your husband gets after taking vicodin. Could you please tell me why he takes vicodin? This would enable to see if diclofenac would be able to appropriately replace it and relief his symptoms.

I hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience so as to make a reasonable suggestion and recommendation.Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
What makes him sick when he takes vicodin?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.

Diclofenac and vicodin are both used in treating pain conditions. They contain different active ingredients and would not necessarily cause the same side effects. Trying diclofenac could be a good option. The most feared side effect of diclofenac is gastritis. Do not forget to eat well and take it as recommended by your doctor. If he gets great relief with little side effects, then I will suggest he continues with it. If it is not the case, I will recommend that he gets evaluated for his condition and the treatment revised completely by the treating physician.

I hope this helps. Let me know what your thoughts are.
