Question: DL PHENYLALANINE

Hello, I have vitiligo and want have questions about DL PHENYLALANINE. According to research, it can help some people with vitiligo get re pigmentation and treat the condition.

I'm considering trying it, but have questions. Can I take it on days when I drink LOTs of beer? Or would it not mix well? Can i take it with tyrosine? I'm taking this most days at the moment. Can i take with 5htp? Any other vitamins I take do i need to not mix?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Hello, Yes, you need to be careful

Detailed Answer:
Yes, there is some evidence that phenylalanine can be effective in helping vitiligo at dosages of 50 mg daily per 2.2 lbs (1 kg) of body weight, with ultraviolet light exposure, as much skin as possible.

For greatest effectiveness, take between meals and especially away from times when you eat protein. I suggest two hours.

I ran an extensive supplement-supplement interaction report and found no significant interactions between the nutrients you listed.

Sadly, beer was not in that database.

I hope I have answered your concerns. Feel free to come back if you need more information or clarification on your supplement routine.
