Question: I have just been prescribed Cymbalta. I also take Paxil. Are they compatible?

This is not recommended combination of drugs since it may have certain side effects which are not serious in most cases,and some doctors prescribe it if there is no other option and all other medications were inefficient. It would be smarter to increase dosage of Paxil or try another antidepressant before you start with this double therapy.Wish you good health. Regards
