Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that both Cialis and lisinopril can decrease your blood pressure.

Cialis has a low effect on blood pressure, but it can increase the effects of lisinopril by pharmacodynamic synergism.

So if you take Cialis while on lisinopril, you should closely monitor your blood pressure for any possible hypotension.

It is not contraindicated to take Cialis, but it should be used with caution.

You should pay attention to your blood pressure.

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions, whenever you need!

Best wishes,

Does Lisinopril differ than Amlodopine in its interaction with Cialis? It was ok when I took Ciailis with Amlodopine.

Brief Answer:
Cialis combination with lisinopril seems to be safe in this situation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for the information provided.

Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor, while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker.

They both decrease the blood pressure, may with a different potency (based also on the dose).

Cialis has the same effect on both these drugs, by increasing their effect on the blood pressure.

So if you have not experienced any troubles using Cialis while on amlodipine, the same thing is expected to happen while using lisinopril.

So you should not worry about it!

Hope to have been helpful!

Best regards,

Dr. Iliri
