Can Chlamydia And Gonorrhea Be Detected Through Urine Test?
Question:
Would a urine test for possible UTI also catch chlamydia or gonorrhea? My test came back with "no signs of infection", but i didn't specify STD to the doctor.

Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
UTI test will not detect stds since other type of testing is required for std,so called, swab tests where secretions inside urethra are taken, not urine. So,this,no infection means that there is no UTI. Wish you good health. Regards
