Can Celexa And Lamictal Cause Tardive Dyskinesia?

Question: I was prescribed Celexa lamictal and rixulti. I stopped rixulti because of the cost. I now have extreme tar dive dyskinesia. Can the Celexa or lamictal be making it worse. One Dr said stop Celexa one says stop lamictal. And they are both in the same practice. I need help it is miserable

elexa doesn't cause tardive dyskinesia!

Hi,

Tardive dyskinesia is not a side effect of Celexa. If a medication must be stopped because of this side effect, it is Lamictal and not Celexa.
