I began taking Brintellix about 10 days ago, one week at 5 mg. and the next at 10 mg. I am now experiencing severe pain in my upper stomach. Was told this is a side effect that should pass.

Pain in the upper stomach and nausea during the first weeks of intake of Vortioxetina is normal,it is recommended combining the antidepressant with Metoclopramide 10 mg thrice a day 3-4 weeks.After 3-4 weeks the side effects disappear.Please consult your doctor for a prescription.
