Can Allopurinol Be Taken While On Diuretics?

Question: hello I am XXXXXXX I am having a gout flare up having pain in my big toe I started taking allopurinol 100 mg last night I took one pill I also take water pill for blood pressure and potassium cl tablet. can I take these two medication with the allopurinol

I wanted to know the reason for prescribing Hydrochlorthiazide. If it is prescribed along with potassium, then you have to stop both.
