Can Adderall Cause An Episode Of Acute Pancreatitis?
Question: Can adderol have effects on the pancreas ? I've been on it for 2 years and ten years ago I had pancreatitis. My stomach is hurting today and it has me worried. It's feels as tho I did to many sit ups - very sore. I also have a little heart burn. Please let me know - thank you

I read your question and i understand your concern . Adderall is a stimulant drug and abdominal pain is its commonest complication and adverse effect and mor elikely with prolonged use. With history of pancreatitis, 10 years ago, there is no harm in getting pancreatic profile assessed as that is possible with this abdominal pain.
Nutshell, all you symptoms of abdominal pain, acid reflux etc are attributed to adderall. Talk to your doctor and see if they can taper the dose of give you conservative treatment for the abdominal pain with some pepto, nexium and antispasmodics.

Yes it can wait. Meanwhile you can take some home remedy for the pain of abdomen. pepper mint works good mixed with yogurt for the pain. try some pepto if available. Drink plenty of fluids , aim for at least 2.2 litres in a day.
