Brief Answer:
1 % lidocaine is the standard in this case

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The standard practice is to use the lidocaine 1% with Ceftriaxone IM injection. The 2 % lidocaine may hamper the dissolution of the ceftriaxone and is not recommended. I would advise you against using the 2 % Lidocaine.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
