Brief Answer:
Please refer to the detailed answer

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
I understand your concern,

After going through your medical details, I would like to tell you that both of these medicines are a totally different group of antihypertensives. Hydralazine belongs to vasodilator group of antihypertensive and amlodipine is a Calcium Channel Blocker.

I would like to suggest you stick with your doctor’s advise as he knows your condition better than a pharmacist.

It’s not advisable to take both the medicine as it can cause hypotension (sudden drop of BP from the baseline level) if your BP is not significantly raised.

I hope this information will guide you properly, feel free to ask if you have more query.

Kind Regards
Dr. Bhanu Partap
