In Ayurveda STD is treated with different protocol.
Depends upon the type and distribution it will vary.
Sometimes curable and certain in non curable pattern too .

Hello,

Diagnosed about 11 years now. I am in healthcare. Lifestyle is simple.
I have tried acyclovir with some results. Past medical history is diabetes type-2

Symptoms come and go. mainly outbreaks in genital area . Is there a cure?

Any recommendations. Home remedies and/or homeopathy medicine

Thanks for your reply.
As you are a diabetic kindly maintain sugar status under control.
Follow the below advise:
1.Avoid wearing tight clothes as they obstruct circulation of air in the groin area
2Wear cotton undergarments
3.Avoid sexual activity when infected by the herpes simplex virus.
Medication:
Neem based ointment is good choice
For topical treatment. Aloe vera gel is also a good choice.
Internal medication;1.Neem capsules 2 twice a day. After food.
2.guduchi capsules 2 twice a day.

According to Aurveda, pyschological stress can be one of the primary causes of herpes eruptions. In times of stress, the virus locked in the neuromuscular cleft comes out resulting herpes sore. Minimizing stress can help the herpes problem.

Meditation,
Try meditation to soothe the system and minimize stress.

Herba tea
Drink herbal tea mixture of brahmi, chamomile and jatamamsi. Mix these herbs in equal proportion for the tea. Drink twice a day.

After a course of 3 months,Kindly do vaginal smear and culture to rule out.
Follow the advise properly as I mentioned in earlier conversation.
Chances of final cure is possible unless you are free from precipitating factors.
Studies says Neem is a proven drug for herpes.

Hai,

Protected and safe intercourse may help your parter from getting infected. But ideal thing is to better avoid intercourse till you get negative or non reactive for herpes. In XXXXXXX ayurveda insist the same medication for curing herpes. Chances are more in curing. Still then you should follow the advise carefully as i mentioned in earler conversation.

As there is no studies regarding the safety of neem on pregnancy.once you are free from herpes stop taking neem.
Dont plan to conceive during the course of medication.

Herpes infection may cause failure in conception.
