Are Swollen Lymph Nodes Behind The Ear Signs Of Std?

Question: Hi i want to know how can i tell if a swollen lymph node is caused by std? Im not sure if the bump behind my ear is a swollen lymph node or pimple. It is a little bit painful.

The swollen lymph node attached in the picture is looking like an allergic bump or due to some other bacterial infection but not related to any STD in my opinion. You can consult an expert to isolate cause and follow the treatment regime as per the advice.

Ohh i see. If i had protected vaginal sex and only unprotected oral sex is it possible to get hiv? I took a hiv test one week after i had sexual intercourse andbthe result came out negative. I just want to be sure.

The risk of transmission of HIV from unprotected oral sex is very less as compared to vaginal or anal sex because the human saliva contains an enzyme which inhibits the growth of HIV virus.

You had protected vaginal sex and the test result is also negative then nothing to worry at all because you are absolutely safe and free from HIV. Just be relaxed and move ahead in life happily.
