Are Seborrhoeic Keratoses And Skin Tags Related To A Serious Illness?

default
Posted on Tue, 11 Jan 2022
Question: Hello! I’m attaching a few images, two of my eye and two of my underarm area, and was wondering if you can take a look at the two spots to see if there’s anything concerning. The spot near my eye is near the area where I drew an arrow, it’s just a small flesh colored bump underneath my lower lashes, near the middle. The spot under my arm where I drew an arrow is usually more of a brownish color but sometimes gets irritated when I shave there. I believe the spot under my arm has been there for quite some time and has never changed, and I think the spot under my eye has been there awhile as well. I do visit a dermatologist for regular skin checks. Thank you for your input!

Brief Answer:
Seborrhoeic keratoses, skin tag, both are benign growths, nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have reviewed the attached photographs.
The spot under the eye seems to be Seborrhoeic keratoses which is a benign age related growth.
The growth in the underam area is looking like a skin tag which again a benign growth.
Both are benign lesions of the skin and there is nothing to worry about.
