Brief Answer:
Treatment needs for underlying cause of enlarged pancreas

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

"As per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your doctor [Gastroenterologist], to confirm, do a few investigations like [pancreatic enzymes and MRI scan]

2) Discuss with your treating doctor about [endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)] for bile duct.

3) Do take other prescription medications as per your treating doctor's advise.

Follow lifestyle modifications like this:

1) Take OTC [Pancreatic enzyme supplements] after the meal for digestion.

2) Stop drinking alcohol and stop smoking.

3) Discuss with your dietitian about a low-fat diet. Choose a diet that limits fat and emphasizes fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.

4) Try to drink more fluids. Pancreatitis can cause dehydration, so drink more fluids throughout the day. It may help to keep a water bottle or glass of water with you.

Hope that helps.
