HIV infection very unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Mist common early symptoms of HIV infection include fever, fatigue, skin rash, swollen lymph nodes, headaches.

In addition, you have been tested negative twice, so, chances of HIV infection are very low.

Pins and needles, muscles twitching could indicate peripheral nervous system involvement by conditions such stress and anxiety disorder, peripheral neuropathy or multiple sclerosis.

I suggest you to discuss your concerns with a Neurologist.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

I was anxious for the last two months but could the anxiety cause pins and needles constantly?
also I plan to go to see a Neurologist soon, what do you recommend me to ask him to make sure that he would check all the possibilities to rule out my problem?

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for being on follow up.

Anxiety disorder actually is one of possible conditions that may cause your symptoms, but it is not the only one.

Consulting a Neurologist should give more insight to diagnosis, you can ask him for further evaluation and tests needed to diagnose correctly your condition.

These tests include nerve conduction study, EMG, blood tests to evaluate vitamins B group levels, electrolytes and, if the Neurologist considers necessary, brain and spinal cord imaging such MRI.

Hope I helped you.

Wishing you good health.

Greetings.
