Brief Answer:
These symptoms are not suggestive of HIV!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this unprotected sexual encounter and all the inconveniences this has caused you. Please, always try to get protection during all sexual encounters.

Your symptoms are not suggestive of HIV. I am pretty convinced that your panics related to the unprotected encounter are to be blamed. No HIV symptoms can show up as fast as barely 8days after exposure. I will advice that you stay calm and follow through. As you relax, most of these symptoms would resolve spontaneously. At a later date, probably after a month, get a comprehensive evaluation for STDs to make sure all is under control and there is nothing we are missing out on.

With new developments, most tests are able to show that you have HIV 3weeks after exposure. There is no more point in waiting for 3months again. However, your symptoms do not suggest that.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
