Brief Answer:
It could last for two to four weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

The withdrawal effect of alcohol can last for one week to four weeks and most cases experience some form of discomfort for two weeks after the cold turkey method of withdrawal.

During this time the treatment is often symptomatic and headache is often treated with Acetaminophen on need basis.

The chances of relation with alcohol is very high as these symptoms are very common among most individuals. In addition presence of these symptoms after withdrawal of alcohol almost confirms its association with alcohol.

I hope this answers you.
