Are Acnes A Side Effect Of Cerazette ?

Question: I have just started using Cerazette 5 days ago and already my skin is breaking out in acne. Can this side effect happen so quickly?

Thank you for asking

I read your question and I understand your concern. 5 days is more than enough for a side effect to happen and acne is the commonest one and monist many others like headache weight gain depression etc. Although other etiologies for acne need to be sorted out. You may switch to combined oral contraceptive pill if acne is bothering as COCP will help acne and contraception.


As far and monists time frame is concerned that early acne is less common but possible.

Withdraw the offending agent. Wait and see
just wash with tepid water frequently don't pick poke or pop these acne pimples. Avoid scrubbing them. Drink plenty of fluids and eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
