Brief Answer:
Follow the Advises as below..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome to HCM..

I've gone through your query and understand your concern..

Your symptoms are too non-specific , can be due to several reasons starting from a stomach bug to acid-reflux diseases, however they don't signify UTI or STD's..so just relax, most likely it's neither of them..

By the way, since you've mentioned, let me know why are you thinking as if it's STD.. any past history ? Any risky exposure ?

Yes, magnesium deficiency can certainly present like these, so proper correction is needed..I'd strongly suggest you to follow the medications and supplementation prescribed by the hospital as well as timely follow-up..

You can share/upload the reports (if you have them already) so that I can have a detailed look to guide you in a more specific way..

Try to maintain good hydration to keep your body metabolism balanced(drink plenty of water, ~ 3-3.5 ltr per day)..

Let me know if there's any further query, I'll be glad to clarify..

Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry, however routine and timely follow-up to continue..

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear , welcome Back.

Thanks for following up..

Don't worry as this is not seems to be related to chlamydia at all (I believe you must've finished the necessary antibiotic therapy for that as well), so relax..

However, since it's been going for for 4 weeks, I'd suggest a visit to a Gastro-enterologist(if not done already) for a detailed clinical evaluation and perhaps an upper GI-endoscopy if required..

Meanwhile try to eat simple home cooked meals, avoid spicy/junk/deep fried foods as well as fizzy beverages and alcohol and caffeinated drinks ..take yogurt daily, eat in smaller portions..take your dinner 2.5-3 hrs prior to your dinner time - all these will help you ..

Also continue taking Cap PANTOPRAZOLE 40 mg Once Daily 20-25 min before breakfast..

Wishing you a good health and faster recovery..

What causes me to keep passing gas every 20 minutes and excessive stomach growling
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr.Arnab (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
several possibilities can be there..

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear, welcome back,

Well for these, you need to be physically checked up to determine whether it's due to acid-reflux or something else(which I've already explained in details to you)..

Have you done anything which I've already advised you several times ?? without incorporating any of those advises , it's not judicious to expect recovery , so kindly let me know..

Please update the reports after the visit to the Gastro-enterologist (if not done already) so that I can guide you accordingly..

Take Care
Regards

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome back..

There can be several reasons for those lower GI track symptoms that you're experiencing starting from flatulence(excessive gas formation) to intolerance to some specific food products (eg. dairy products, gluten etc.) and even hemorrhoids and final diagnosis can only be possible after a complete physical check-up along with necessary investigation(if required)..

Yes so don't delay any more and get yourself checked..

Wish you a good Health

Best Regards

I also drink over 60z of beer daily, they may have something to do with it as well, and I suffer from anxiety and stress

Answered by Dr. Dr.Arnab (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
yes they do contribute to all these symptoms..

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back Dear,
Thanks for following up..

Well; beer, or any other alcoholic beverage can alter the metabolism of your gut and body, resulting in several after effects..try to cut it it down as much as possible..

Stop being so anxious about it, at such young age you shouldn't be suffering from stress at all..try to keep your mind away from all these things..start involving in to indoor as well as outdoor activities apart from your work (eg. indoor games, reading, painting, listening music , watching movies, jogging in the park etc.)..all these will keep you busy so that all those unnecessary worry don't even pop-up in your mind..

Remember, drinking alcohol may give you the momentary pleasure but ultimately it creates more anxiety and depression as alcohol has that after effects in the long run..on top of that , it also contributes adversely to all these other GI issues that is bothering you..so try to reduce alcohol as much as possible..

Timely intervention is equally important for further well being, that's why I've advised you every time to get checked and evaluated by the gastroenterologist which will not only get to a specific diagnosis and treatment but also will provide the peace of mind that your in need of..

Stay happy and move on with your life..
