Brief Answer:

Indicates a urine infection.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your wife has a urine infection. The complete report is needed to know the antibiotic which will suit her the best. Usually, it responds to antibiotics like Ofloxacin or Amikacin or Nitrofurantoin.

Your gynecologist can choose the best antibiotic for her and prescribe it in proper doses.

The treatment of this would involve the following:

a. Drink plenty of fluids
b. Cranberry juice has been shown to be useful in fighting this infection.
c. She can take a urine alkalinizing agent like disodium hydrogen citrate

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

She is taking one antibiotic "Taxim-o DT 100" 2 times for 5 days because she has PUS cell range 10-12.. And doctor suggested one "Citralka" liquid in every 4hr 50 ml in 200ml water for 7 days, gap next 7 days then continue same 3 times. so these medicine are safe in pregnancy?

Brief Answer:

These are safe.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The medicines Taxim and Citralka are safe for use in pregnancy. But the dosage of Taxim is less than normal adult dose. She is taking a kid tablet. She needs to take at least 200 mg twice a day to control the infection properly.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
