Question: Why do you think it necessary for me to have Moxonodine 400 at lunchtime and Moxonodine 200 before bed together with other high BP tablets - Verapamil, Avapro are they all serving the same purpose or am I being

Brief Answer:
It is needed to maintain control of blood pressure

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam,
I am Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
Thanks for using HCM.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concern about so many pills...
As such I need full information of your history and present complaints and reading of Blood pressure.
However I can presume that you have following ailments
1.Hypertension for which you are given Avapro and Moxonidine
2.High cholesterol for which you are given lipitor
3.Rhythm disorder of heart (?Atrial fibrillation) for which you are given cordilox and apixiban
4.You might have had breast tumor in past requiring surgery or chemo and now needing Tamoxifen.
5.Ongoing painful condition requiring pain relief and supportive medications which is Palexia and allergon.
Now as far as your question of Moxonidine is concerned I would like to know your current readings of Blood pressure. At your age Blood pressure must remain below 150/90.The frequency, dose and number of medicines needed depends on the level of blood pressure. So if your BP is remaining below 150/90 with these medications and overall your symptoms are under control, you should not worry about number of pills!
my best wishes
Dr.Teli.
