Addicted To Smoking And Losing Complexion. Suggest The Supplements To Be Taken

Question: Hi I'm 28 years of age,male. I used to be a regular gym goer.its been 3 years or so I haven't been going because of my job hours and so on. Currently I'm into morning shift which is from 7am to 5 pm. I am Into smoking also and quite addicted past few years. I get lazy to go to the gym anymore. Lately I have noticed I am losing my complexion and losing my charm and even getting tinier which gives people to pick on me. Kidnky advice on what supplements I should take. Etc. I hope I get a good diagnosis and worth the money as I heard some were not upto the mark. And I do not want to be asked a follow up question which is not valid. Thanks.

Brief answer...only supplements are not going to help you. Detailed answer..... Hello, Thanks for the query. If a person thinks that only supplements can make your body,then he is mistaken. For proper health,body and mind,one needs regular exercises along with healthy eating and avoidance of substances of abuse like smoking etc. Your darkening of complexion is because of smoking. Your tinier body is because of loss of muscle bulk due to lack of exercises. Since you are a young person,your main requirement is good healthy food in form of fresh fruits,green vegetables,nuts,fish and chicken etc. Avoid junk foods,colas,deep fried foods etc. You must quit smoking at any cost as it is associated with various side effects and complications. Along with good healthy food,you must start doing regular exercises for at least 45 minutes a day. Regular exercises not only increase your appetite but also remove lethargy and depression.You feel euphoric after doing exercises because feel good hormones ( ENDORPHINS ) are released in body after exercises. Along with good healthy food and exercises,take good proper sleep for 7-8 hours a day and take plenty of water. Consumption of natural food is much better than consuming supplements. Also get your levels of VIT D and VIT B 12 tested and if deficient,then go for their supplements. I hope it helps however you may revert to me for any further query. Best of luck Thanks

Quitting smoking I tried but not been a success. Stress had made me hake more than 10 cigs a day. Food yes I do have a lot of junk which I'm planning to avoid and going to gym I don't know. Each time I teach home by 5.30 and I just feel too lazy to go and too tired because I sit whole day at work on the computer. Yes I do realise due to lack of exercise my body is looking tinier. I'm just 5.7" and it makes me look worse now. Could you suggest some tips to stop smoking.. Like how to quit slowly. Today I bough a strip of vit d and 3 capsules just to see if it will stop making me feel lethargic. I used to love going to the gym when I wasn't working. But now, it just getting tougher and will my complexion get back if I quit smoking. Also I have seen a lot of people who smoke and still their complexion is good. And lastly, what kind of food should I take to see an affective change in me. Thanks XXXXXXX

Hello, For quitting smoking,one can do the following.. Many people are able to quit smoking cold XXXXXXX You can reduce the number of cigarettes by systemically reducing them You may opt for nicotine patches One may opt for acupuncture or cognitive behaviour therapy. As far as lethargy is concerned,just be strong in your mind that you have to go to gym. It may be difficult in initial phase but once you are able to go for few days,you would get your routine back As far as VIT D consumption is concerned,it is better to get it estimated. You shall be able to take VIT D properly,once you know it's exact value. It is possible that some people may not exhibit change in their complexion,but it is scientifically proved that smoking results in darkening of skin complexion. As far as your health food is concerned,I have explained you earlier that fresh fruits,green vegetables,nuts,chicken,fish,eggs and dairy products are ideal foods to be consumed. Thanks

What series of test should I take to check if I am in perfect shape as you mentioned to have a v it d and b 12. How should I get it done. I am currently taking calcium tablet as well. I will try to reduce the consumption of cigs gradually. And I will try to buy nicotine gums and see how it goes.
