Hello XXXXXXX,
Firstly, swelling, bruising, bleeding occuring from a previously injured gum denotes
- Local trauma which injured the area again.
- Infection in that particular area of gum leading to these manifestations.
Draining the sinus infection from the open cut is not possible. It may occur when there is a fractured maxilla. You did not give such history. So, it is not a possibility. But it should be clinically examined.
The condition is complicated by presence of a runny nose. This indicates an upper respiratory tract infection.

You have to do the followings -
1. Use a good mouthwash to keep the area clean. It is most important.
2. For infection, a broad spectrum antibiotic like amoxicillin / azithromycin group of drugs, should be used. It is effective for both the gum infection and runny nose.
3. If fever comes give acetaminophen group of drugs.
4. Consult with a pediatrician for further clinical examination, investigation if required, and dose adjustment of the abovementioned drugs.

Hope this information suffices. Let me know, if you have any more question.

Regards.
