Hello, I have been struggling with what I thought was a UTI for three months. I had a UA done with a low bacterial load and was treated with Macrobid. Two after this later my symptoms returned even worse than before, but multiple UAs showed no infection present. My doctor prescribed two weeks of doxycycline where symptoms got better, but have not gone away. I did the MicrogenDx urological test towards the end of my doxycycline treatment. My test came back with e coli infection but with a low bacterial load which is similar to three months ago. My provider is treating me again with Macrobid. Could this bacterial load be enough to have lingering UTI symptoms? Should I be taking the Macrobid?

My father had a very high creatinine level and urinary obstruction due to enlarged prostrate gland. I met Dr. Nagaraj through our family physician. It was a great surprise to me, as he did not even touch the patient, just went through the reports and next day my father was taken to the operation theatre and within half n hour the surgery was performed. The day after the surgery, his creatinine level decreased. I am very thankful to the doctor. Any Kidney problem, I would blindly recommend this doctor.
