What is Sterilization surgery?

It is surgery performed to prevent child birth.In female it is called tubal ligation in which part of both fallopion tubes is cut ,both ends are ligated thus preventing meeting of sperm and ovum,hence resulting sterility.In males both vas differants are cut and ligated/prevents fertilisation.
