I take adderall xr. This morning I had a problem swallowing the pill , and it accidentally went into my sinus cavity. I did not realize it, though a few minutes later I felt some pain. I blew my nose a few times and eventually the pill, now mostly dissolved, and the little white balls the fill the capsule came out. I blew repeatedly, trying to get them all out. I felt much better, and have not noticed any problems, but am now wondering if I should have gone, or should go, to the hospital?
Hi ,
Accidental entry of pills into the nose will not cause any harm. Dont try to take it out, or sneeze . It will automatically get dissolved. Drinking a cup of water will clear the white speks. But capsule form will get logged in nose which needs a help of ent doctor for removal. Forceful...

I was told that I have enlarged mastoids. A problem I do have is that my ears are constantly popping and when I bend over it fells like a river rushing through my ears. I also get a lot of pain in my sinuses. I had an ex-ray done on my sinuses several months ago and this is when I was told that my mastoids were enlarged and one of my sinuses was very small. Should I see a ENT about this.
Yes you should consult an ent specialist and get your ears checked and secondly get the x ray of sinuses checked .
When there is sinus infection then the infected discharge drains at the back, and it causes swelling and edema around the tube behind the nose.
This tube gets connected to the...

The tumor was in his sinus cavity. Recently he has been hurting everytime he goes to the restroom. He drinks on a regular basis. I was just wondering what could be causing this. He doesnt have hemmoroids
diagnosis of any cancer require biopsy and relavent radiological investigation like CT Scan and MRI, I request you to consult Any general surgeon(M.S) and get done biopsy atleast.and if its proven to have cancer then we have to think for further oncological management,.

I got hit just below the right eye 2 days ago playing rugby. The hit was hard enough to make my nose bleed and ring my bell for a few minutes. My nose has contained blood which feels like its coming from my sinus cavity ever since the hit. My cheek Is slightly swollen and bruised but my biggest concern is my 4 numb teeth starting from the middle to the next 3 to the right. Any information is welcome
Although these symptoms of numbness of teeth could be because of some compression of nerves but such numbness and bleeding from nose could be because of nasal bone fracture, maxilla fracture or a simple blow out fracture.
Ideally you should consult a ENT specialist and get a CT or MRI of...

hello, I had botox injections on each side of my face above my eyebrow. Also some Juvederm filler injected in between my eyebrows. I recently had an x-ray at my dental office that showed blockage in my left sinus cavity. I went to my PCP who repeated the x-ray and prescribed a ten day antibiotic (augmentin) I had a follow-up x-ray which showed blockage. My doctor ordered a CT scan and left a message on my phone tonight that the scan was not normal. I cannot talk with my PCP until tomorrow to get the details. I am concerned that the botox or filler may of penetrated my sinus cavity. Do you know if this is possible?
Botox is injected in skin and in no condition can penetrate in the nose and that too at the sinus and at the sinus opening.
sinuses are hollow spaces in the bone with opening in the nasal cavity.
These sinus opacities might be there previously and may be because of some nasal allergies or...
