Limbic system

What is Limbic system?

It is a group of structure in the brain beside both side of the thalamus under the cerebrum. Structure includes hippocampus, hypothalamus, amygdala etc. It appears to be primarily responsible for our emotional life.This structure are also responsible for processing and storage of memory. Other important functions are behaviour, motivation and olfaction.
