What is Keratolytic?

It is an acid medicine used for the treatment of warts or other lesions characterized by excessive production of skin by the epidermis. It can also be used for the treatment of dandruff, acne and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Examples of this class are salicylic acid, sulphur, resorcinol, urea etc.
