I have had unprotected sex once with a woman who has had only one HPV immunization. I am unsure if she is protected from HPV due to the lack of completion of series of injections. I have a ring-like and not very noticeable (without close examination) acute pattern of redness accompanied by tiny red dots that are barely raised if at all. It is like a red ring under the foreskin (un-cut). I suspect it is an abrasion and not HPV as the pictures I`ve seen of HPV look nothing like it, but then again they were pretty intense pictures. There are no symptoms except redness and the small tiny spots which are moreso on the left side. I masturbate 1-3 times a day and do not use lube. Is it normal for there to be some spots with an abrasion?

doctor1 MD

HPV LEADS TO WARTS AND PAPILLOMAS NOT REDDNESS OR OEDEMA IF PARTNER TOOK ONE INJECTION ONLY AND YOU MET WITHIN 03 MONTHS THEN YOU ARE IMMUNE HPV VACCINE WILL NOT PREVENT FROM OTHER SEX TRANSMITTED DISEASES.

Hi, I ve been diagnosed with Hpv not to long back. As of late around the Labia I ve notices small white bumps that are very tiny they do not itch or bother me at all. My tongue is also covered in a white coating and the back has raised bumps in a v formation. Could this be more than my hpv? my doctor told me Hpv clears up on it own and to come back in a few months back when I was diagnosed but now I am worried.

doctor1 MD

Hi.HPV usually causes genital warts.the white spots on vagina and white coating on the tongue can be candidiasis.use flucanozole weekly once for 3-4 weeks

My child was born in Jan of 2010. I have lost the desire to have sex with my husband. Due to constant cramping and it hurts. It feels like he is caught on one side. This has been going on for a year. I have also have HPV which I am getting a biopsy done today. Why would I be cramping all the time and feel like he is caught on something?

doctor1 MD

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Losing the desire of sex is mostly due to the depression which is commonly seen associated with a childbirth. You can go for biopsy and then treatment for HPV and after that if the problem persists, psychotherapy can help you.

My doctor just informed me that I tested positive for HPV, I had not had a partner for 2and 1/2 years and then fell in love again, I thought he had been monogomus, he had been married for 38 years and had lost his wife 1 and 1/2 years ago. We have been intimate for about the last six months, what do I have to worry about and should he be tested and can this effect him? Should I tell him what my doctor found? She said I could be tested again in 1 year but that seems like such a long time to worry?

Hello,

I've been diagnosed with HPV having had treatment for one wart which appeared a 6 months ago, and has pretty much nearly gone after treatment. Now however, I've noticed a raised mass of soft tissue next to the frenulum of my penis, and I'm concerned as to what this could indicate. It looks about the same size as that of a pea but strangely it seems to change size every now and then. Could you give me any possible ideas as to what it is? Thanks
