What is Hsv-1?

Herpes simplex type 1,, are caused by herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1). It is transmitted through oral secretions or sores on the skin, can be spread through kissing or sharing objects such as toothbrushes or eating utensils. Cold sores, which are small and somewhat painful blisters that usually show up on or around a person's lips
