my sister in law has trigemenal neuralgia. She had the MVD surgery but the pain is still there. She is still having tremendous pain in the area where the eye meets the nose (corner) and it is painful to swallow. She chose the MVD surgery as she was told it was a "cure". All of the pain is on the left side and she has also had problems with her left eye. Her MVD surgeon said her situation was complicated when he got in to do the surgery, that he had to do the cushions (or whatever they are called) in four places. He said he wouldn't have been able to do anymore on the backside...it would have caused a stroke. So we are wondering if that's where the problem lies, or does she have something else? She feels like it's something on her sinuses. But her MRI is clean. What other tests , suggestions, procedures, should she try? and also where is the best research being done on Trigemenal Neuralgia? It also seems that barometric pressure is having an effect on her. When storms come in, she gets worse.

Hello, I have switched over to electronic cigarettes and am experiencing something I have not read about involving them. The Juice I am using is Propylene Glycol(PG) based and ever since I have been using this I have been coughing a lot as well as coughing up a clear-like mucus from my lungs. I had a cough about a week before I purchased the electronic cigarette and thought at first that it simply has not come to pass until I decided to stop using my electronic device as I began getting headaches due to coughing so violently. The symptoms ceased momentarily, or at least to the point that I now know that the electronic cigarette's vapor is the cause(PG). Am I allergic to PG? Should I switch to Vegetable Glycerin based liquids? Or is it simply that with excess vapor in the lungs I inducing coughing? Thank you for reading.

Hi, I am 34 weeks pregnant and last night I was partially successful with what I thought was a severe feel impaction. I had a hard clay like stool stuck in my anus and I first tried to digitally remove it. Then I tried a glycerin suppository and lastly a fleets enema helped remove two large segments. I still feel like there is a lot more because it was 5 days with no bm plus I feel like their is something stuck in there. At this point do I try another fleets enema?

My 4 yr old son has epilepsy and is currently taking Lamictal and we just started him on Vimpat (liquid) about 2 weeks ago. We were giving him 1ml 2x per day and upped it to 2ml 2x per day today (eventually looking to have him on 4ml 2x per day). This evening he had pretty bad diarrhea really liquid and almost foamy. 2 days ago he was really constipated so we gave him a toddler laxative (glycerin suppository) and that helped with that issue. Is it possible that the increase in Vimpat is causing this or a combo with having given him the laxative the other day?
