What is Vinpocetine?

Vinpocetine is a semisynthetic derivative of the alkaloid vincamine, an extract from the periwinkle plant.Because some people think vinpocetine might improve blood flow to the brain, it is used for enhancing memory and preventing Alzheimer’s disease.
