What is Syntocinon?

Syntocinon is synthetic Oxytocin, used in gynecological conditions mostly. Oxytocin is a hormone released from the posterior pituitary. Syntocinon can be used to induce labor, control bleeding, induce an abortion, enhance milk secretion after delivery etc.
