What is Rilonacept?

It is an interleukin 1 inhibitor and is used to treat some of the symptoms of rare genetic conditions such as Familial Cold Auto-inflammatory Syndrome (FCAS) or Muckle-Wells Syndrome (MWS). However, this medication is not a cure for these inherited conditions. It is injected under the skin. Some side effects are fever, nausea, vomiting, bleeding, flu symptoms, unusual weakness.
