What is Rela?

RELA gene encodes for protein transcription factor p65, this gene is bound to nuclear factor-kappa-B1 and kappa-B2, forming Nuclear-factor-kappa-B complex, which are transcription factors that when activated by various stimuli lead to different immune responses as in various inflammatory conditions.
