Dexchlorpheniramine (trade name Polaramine) is an antihistamine with anticholinergic properties used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever or urticaria. It is the pharmacologically active dextrorotatory isomer of chlorpheniramine.

I was spreading sugar cane mulch and later noticed a small red lump about the size of a 10c piece then little tiny pimples around that which have now joined up and a rash stared from near the red lump on the inside of my upper leg now the rash has spread around my back on my neck and on the backs of my legs it is very very itchy and is driving me crazy I seem to get a bit of relief when I have a shower and I am taking 1 polaramine twice a day which isn t helping

Yes I have a healthy 12 month old 13kg baby but we are about to go on a 14 hour flight so is it safe to use phernergon for sedation if so what is the dosage ?

i have got high itching sensation on the sides my thighs and about 3 round rashes like ringworm type on d sides of my thighs near to the reproductive system, i am not able to sleep the whole night because of the itching sensation caused, and not even able to concentrate on work since even in the day i have the same sensation, i am Muscat now i had called up to a doctor whom i know in india, he has advised me to apply ONABET-B cream for the itching and POLARAMINE & TYZA-250mg tablets for the same, my query is, is it advisable and will it have a curing effect .

By your complaints it appears to be Fungal Infection.You need to keep genital areas dry.change,wash and dry undergarments daily.Use fungicidal creams like terbinafine creams twice daily.antifungal powders like clotrimazole powders after it subsides daily after bath to keep area dry

I had a case of angeo edema and was treated with polaramine, omnacotil but since i was a iidm patient, took a second referral. Met my Endocrinologist who negated any effects of insulin for the angeoedema referred to a skin specialsit. He checked up and analysed that i had a severe case of pharyngitis which resulted in this case and treated for reducing this infection with following medicines, Augmentin 675 mg twice a day, Allegra 80 mg once a day and Teczine once in night. The problem initially subsided but after a strenuous day my rashes and swelling in the body has recurred. Please tell me what to do

u need to continue your medications for atleast 15 to 30 days whether u have a rash or not...the most important thing is to find out the cause of this allergy...until n unless u find it it may be recurrent...u can make a diary of the things u do from morning to night for 15 days and then...

I've got skin allergies especially on my face for sometime already. It's very itchy, red and skin a bit peel-off. fyi, I do take care of my skin, I wash my face with wash-off cleanser twice a day (morning and night), apply moisturizer & etc. I've seen dermatologist for few years and he prescribed antihistamine tablets i.e. polaramine, zytec and etc each time I get the attack. Hello Doctor, Since I got an email with a followup subject "How are you doing" on 24th XXXXXXX for the query that I raised on Dec 4, 2013, I thought I give me feedback. Incidentally, after using Oilatum, my daughter has developed more eruptions at the elbow fold and kneefold and some more itching. My wife consulted another doctor and he observed that Oilatum can be used once the skin infection is under control. I have intermittent blockage of Eustachian tube in my left ear, caused apparently due to influenza. Will VOZET tablet help me get rid of this problem? OK let me put it like this Dr Sunil.... I have a ear block (left ear) caused due to cold and cough and a prominent ENT specialist prescribed VOZET tablet which has levocetirizine (5mg) - dosage 1 tablet a day after food at night. My 6 year old son is having chronic hives..we did a urine test and stool test. Stool tests shows cysts of e histolytics 1-2/hpf and pus cells show 1-2 hpf. The dermatologist have metrogyl 200 3 times a day for a week. Also sys polaramine and ciplactin was given. But the hives persisted . After 10 days, the doctor prescribed ketosma 1/2 tab at night and zyrtec 1/2 tablet in the morning. The hives are still persisting. He is getting them all over his body including his face. Please help.
