What is Doxil?

Doxil (Doxorubicin)is an antineoplastic medication (anthracycline topoisomerase inhibitor) for IV infusion in patients with recurrent ovarian cancers, leukemias, Hodgekin's lymphoma, Breast cancers, multiple myeloma, lung, brain cancers,etc. Most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, fever, weakness, diarrhea, RED rashes, loss of appetite, small sores on palms, skin (so named as Red devil) etc
