Buspirone
What is Buspirone?
This drug, developed in the mid 70's, is used nowadays to treat patients that have anxiety issues. One common use is in a disease called Generalised Anxiety Disorder. It works by altering the activity of a chemical in the brain called Serotonin. Should never be used with with people who use MAO inhibitors. Dose must be closely monitored by a professional in patients with kidney or liver disease
