My daughter is 21 and has had testing for Lupus. The Rheumatologist she saw could not confirm one way or the other. She has been experiencing vertigo for 3 days now and was given a Rx for Betahistine 2 days ago and it has done nothing to improve her dizziness.

Hi. My mother has been told she has Ménière's disease. I was wondering if there is anything we can do to help her, as she has not got quality of life as the attacks occur quit offen. Or is there a specialist in Sydney we can take her to? She also has a urine infection that comes and goes.

In my left ear I am getting some like beep sound feel like if we press XXXXXXX button we will get one tone I am getting this sound if I watch TV or press bike horn or if any outside sound, I won't get that type of sound in bed room with out any outside sound I checked ENT doctor he prescribe two medicine piraple -1200 and absolut 3g both in night.....

I have had dizziness for three weeks. I can't go out alone for fearing of falling. My symptoms came on quickly the dizziness is not spinning but as if the floor is moving up and down and my lower legs feel like jelly and I actually fall forward. This happens all day. I'm ok when lying down, My doctor first prescribed betahistine Dihydrochloride which had no effect and has now prescribed cinnarizine tablets but these appear to be for Meniere's disease although I don't have nausea or buzzing in ears.
