What is Apraclonidine?

Apraclonidine lowers the pressure in the eye by decreasing the amount of fluid produced within the eye, thus used for the short-term treatment of glaucoma in people who are taking other medications and still have increased pressure in the eye. Apraclonidine 1% eye drops are prevent or reduce increased pressure in the eye during or after laser eye surgery.
