What is Antipsychotic medication?

These are drugs prescribed by psychiatrist for mental disorders like extreme emotions or violent behavior, state of mind with/without thought disorders etc. These drugs are also called as neuroleptic drugs with further classification as typical and atypical anti psychotic drugs which act at different part of brain neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonins.
