I called the night doctor last night & he said that his tonsillitis is inflamed which is also causing Jonathan to have a temp. Jonathan is on antibiotics, been giving him Panadol every 4 hrs & nurofen every 8 hrs. He's ok just temp up & down, been keeping his fluids up. Probably best if you take him to the doctors 2m to get Jonathan's tonsillitis checked. We r leaving 2d to come home.

I was diagnosed with having tonsillitis or a bad upper respiratory infection, as my test for Strep was negative. Previous to this, I discovered that my sink was leaking pretty badly and there was black mold underneath that had accumulated on one side of the sink and the sides. I sprayed with disinfectant and cleaned. Tonight, I moved a bucket and there was a good amount of black mold that had accumulated under that, as well. I have never had tonsil problems. Could this have contributed to me getting sick so suddenly?

I was just recently in the hospital and they diagnosed me with tonsillitis that got into my blood causing my white blood cell count to raise to 22. They also found a heart murmur at this time. Lately I have been feeling like a flutter feeling or racing heart beats. I feel anxious almost but it s very uncomfortable should I be looking to see a doctor?

doctor1 MD

Hi, welcome for your query

My 5 year old son has recurring fever and stomach ache (sometimes accompanied with vomiting) every 4-6 weeks for the past year. Some doctors have diagnosed a virus whilst some say it is tonsillitis (despite no complaints about a sore throat) What could this be?

I have had a sore throat (swollen glands, red tonsils) and conjunctivitis for 15 days. Both the rapid strep test and the comprehensive throat test came back negative. Also I had a blood test for mono which came back negative. The blood test also checked my white platelets which were normal. What virus do you think I have and when will it go away? I am a 38 years old female, 105 pounds, with otherwise great health.
