What is Tenosynovitis?
Tenosynovitis is inflammation of the lining of the sheath that surrounds a tendon (the cord like structure that joins muscle to bone). The synovium is a lining of the protective sheath that covers tendons. Tenosynovitis is inflammation of this sheath.
