Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is a disorder of excessive bacterial growth in the small intestine. With this disorder symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and weight loss may be present. For the diagnosis of bacterial overgrowth, aspiration from the jejunum is made where the bacterial growth is more.
