Severe oligospermia

What is Severe oligospermia?

A healthy male sperm count should be between 150-220 million sperms per ml of semen.Having less than 5 million per ml is called severe oligospermia. It is directly related to male infertility.Even if the appearance of sperm is normal this low a number is detrimental for fertility as the large number of sperm count is important for fertilization although only one sperm gets a chance to fertilize.
