What is Sciatic nerve pain?

The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in your body. It runs from the back of the pelvis, through your buttocks, and all the way down both legs, ending at the feet. Sciatic nerve pain pain caused by compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve. The pain radiates out from the lower back and travels down the leg to the calf.
