I have a history a renal cancer in which I had a radical nephrectomy I am now 2 years post surgery. I have just had a follow up CT scan which shows minimal free fluid in the abdomen. is this anything to worry about. I also had a gastric sleeve in November 2011 and have lost 36 kgs

Free fluid refers to the build up of water or other fluids in the abdomen or pelvis.

Your result stated that there was minimal free fluid present which means that a very small amount was seen.

I have very painful mouth ulcers which are seemingly an effect of my renal cancer treatment. The ulcers are under my tongue and seem like normal type ulcers except they have a black spot in the centre. What is the significance of the black colouration?
