Pyonephrosis

What is Pyonephrosis?

Pyonephrosis (Greek pyon "pus" + nephros "kidney") is an infection of the kidneys' collecting system. Pus collects in the renal pelvis and causes distension of the kidney.

It can cause kidney failure.
