What is Peripartum cardiomyopathy?
This is a condition that could lead to endangering of the life of the mother or child or both during childbirth or shortly afterward. The exact cause is not known but is known to be related to maternal hypertension, diabetes , placenta previa, threatened abortion with blood loss, obstructed labor, large baby, cord prolapse and delayed labor etc.
